Officially established in September, 2005.
Disbursement of first Operating Grant by Government of Pakistan made in December, 2005.
First staff member recruited in January, 2006.
MOU signed with Bank of Punjab, for the Bank to become a partner in our first two programmes (Model Farms and Cooling Tanks), March 2006.
First full time Chief Executive takes up position in May, 2006.
Advertisements for Model Farm and Cooling Tank Programmes placed in May and June 2006.
First Cooling Tanks established under the Dairy Pakistan Programme in operation in August 2006.
President General Pervez Musharraf grants approval in principle for Dairy Pakistan’s Horizon Two Programmes, September 2006.
October 2006, the number of Cooling Tanks established under the Dairy Pakistan programme passes 100.
November 2006, Askari Bank and PDDC sign an MOU under which Askari Bank will become a partner bank for its Model Farm and Cooling Tank Programmes.
January 2007, first tri-partite agreements signed between Askari Bank, Dairy Pakistan and Model Farm applicants, representing the formal start of this key programme.
January 2007 ,Dairy Pakistan accepts the leadership of an industry group assembled with the support of NAVTEC (National Voactional & Technical Education Commission), to develop strategy for dairy sector training.
January 2007, first Model Farm underway.
February 2007, Model Farm Programme underway with equipment being delivered to our first farms, along with the necessary technical assistance.
February 2007, Memorandum of Understanding signed with Bank Alfalah, adding this bank to our list of partners.
May 2007, Dairy Pakistan reaches more than 500 Cooling Tank implementations, and 50 Model Farm implementations.
June 2007, number of Cooling Tank installations surpasses 600.
July, 2007, MOU signed with Government of Sindh to co-operate in the development of the dairy sector of Sindh province.
August 2007, the number of Model Farms reaches 100.
August 2007, the Planning Commission endorses PDDC's range of "Horizon Two" programmes. These programmes now go the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council for final approval.
September 2007, initial students on a training programme on Cooling Tank operation and maintenance receive their certificates in a ceremony at PDDC's offices.
October 2007, ECNEC approves our Horizon Two Programmes.
February 2008, number of Model Farm implementations crosses 200.
February 2008, number of Cooling Tank implementations crosses 800.
March 2008, number of Cooling Tank implementations crosses 900.
July-09, Model Farms implementations 890.

Community farms have 10 clusters and 32 community farms in Punjab and Sindh servicing more than 565 farmers. First community farm looking to open in NWFP in Sept/Oct 2009.
14 Rural service providers received their equipment and running their business.
Extension dept has conducted more than 200 field days and introduced more 6000 farmers to PDDC.
